Dann gehts über zu den Prototypen. Mc Nish legt mit einer 1:31,3 eine erste schnelle Zeit im Audi vor, gefolgt von Premat der eine 1:32,1 nachlegt. Die Peugeot kommen nur schwer in Schwung, insbesonders nachdem Minassian in Abbeys von Sebah-Lola torpediert wird und mit herabhängenden Heck-Teilen in die Box einfährt. Schliesslich legen de 908 doch die Messlatte vor, bleiben aber mit 0,6s Vorsprung unter ihren Möglichkeiten.
Bester Benziner wird wieder einmal Stefan Mücke vor Olivier Panis im Oreca-Courage, Shinji Nakano im Epsilon, der mit dem 7. Platz das bislang beste Ergebnis für die Spanier einfährt. Dahinter folgt Jos Verstappen als schnellste LMP2-Pilot im VM-Porsche. Zweiter in der LMP2 wird Michael Vergers im Epsilon-Barazi-Zytek vor Andrea Bellichi im Speedy-Lola und Oliver Pla im ASM-Lola. |
